Research provides the foundation for informed decision-making, ensuring that design solutions are validated, innovative and aligned to the project. We typically start a sprint by exploring a topic or problem area by interviewing collaborators in our network, gaining first hand insights and backing it up with other online sources.
We design delightful user experiences for all different types of platforms and screen sizes. We believe aesthetics and functionality go hand in hand. We work to develop meaningful design systems that are intuitive, accessible and playful.
We collaborate closely with developers and creative technologists to transform designs into stable and functional prototypes. Our priority lies in iterative testing and tweaking, ensuring our designs are implemented as intended for any kind of public release.
We often help launch products to the public. For digital products, such as websites or apps, the release may involve deploying the product to servers and making it accessible to users. We provide necessary training or support feedback that can be used to iterate and improve the product in future. For installations or performance-based projects, we are the on-the-ground team, coordinating, sourcing, and installing everything needed.

Making tools, it’s a very human thing to do. When we design digital tools we aim to build in a sense of delight, from AI music creation tools for artists to digital assessment tools for government. We partner with experienced engineers to create robust backend systems that are secure and efficient.
We run workshops to help creatives learn about and utilise emerging technology. We’re currently developing a Co-creative AI Arts Program, get in touch if you’d like to be involved.
